This is a "now" page — a plain account of where my attention is at the moment, rather than a polished résumé. It changes as the work changes.
Building
- Parent communication at scale. Refining the messaging pipeline that carries school updates to thousands of families over SMS — the kind of channel that has to work on every phone, with no app and almost no data.
- School operations software. Continuing work on timetabling, teaching-assignment, and daily-logistics tools for multi-campus schools, so a term can run without spreadsheets quietly falling apart.
- Gate & pickup logistics. The unglamorous safety problem of the last hundred meters — who collects which child, and how a school keeps that orderly and accountable every afternoon.
Writing
Adding to a small collection of essays on education technology, low-bandwidth design, and institutional trust. The aim is one considered piece at a time rather than volume — you can read the current set on the writing page.
Where
Splitting time and work between Benin City, Nigeria and Porto Alegre, Brazil — two places that keep my sense of "what counts as reliable infrastructure" honest.
